Simple, smart, sustainable 'dry garden' style, requiring little maintenance and no watering. It is a beautiful garden, exceeding the clients expectations within just the first year.

Here we created a sustainable dry garden, providing biodiversity and year round interest. Plants were chosen for their drought tolerant properties, visual appeal and to attract bees and wildlife.
The client entered their completed space into a front garden competition run by Chelmsford City Council under the category of 'best sustainable garden 2017' and we were delighted that it won first place! A fitting testimony to the successful completion of the brief.
The planting list contained various Euphorbia, Lavandula, Erigeron, Stipa, Allium, Agapanthus, Perovskia, Anemanthele lessoniana, Sedum, Thymus, Geum and Saxifrage and we used the plants in diagonal swathes to create a more informal yet ordered plant scheme.
